Oldies but goodies…

You know, a few months ago I read a blog post from an amazing blogger that really hit home with me. She talked about blogging and how hard and intimidating it can be. Wow, can it be! Don’t get me wrong I love it, but it’s hard to put yourself out there.

All of my social media feeds are filled with bloggers and their content, sponsored posts, and events. They all look so perfectly polished and put together…but are they like that always? Do they have real lives too? Lol, and kids who can run you ragged? Idk? BUT they sure do have great style! Keyword: style.

I got to thinking about the stresses that I face as a blogger. Will they like it? I don’t have many followers, how can I get more? And on and on…when it hit me. (Keyword: style) This is not all about the sponsored posts and spending tons of money to have something to blog about. It’s about bringing your readers good classic style and sticking to that no matter how old the outfit is. I got into blogging because I wanted to inspire others and help with their style. To share my passion with others. So today I am bringing some oldie but goodies out of the closet!! I bought this dress two years ago at a local boutique, Abby Gayle’s…and guess what, I still love it!! It is just a classic sheath dress with a fun graphic print. Necklace and earrings are from the same boutique as the dress, and not to mention my favorite color EVER from Kendra Scott, but they are 3 years old. Bracelets are Lagos from Crockers Jewelers. My shoes I got last year and my tote I have had for almost 10 years!

Pull out some oldies but goodies from your closet, accessorize it and walk out the door to own your day!
