Another spring trend coming at you: Utility Jacket

This month’s posts have been all about spring trends. I have a few more up my sleeve, so stay tuned!! Today however is all about the Utility Jacket or Vest. When March rolls around its time to be getting your wardrobe spring and summer ready. Make time to weed through your clothes gals, pick out the things you never wear, and replace them with something you will. A utility jacket will be something you will defiantly want to buy!!  Spring in Texas can be a bit wild (who am I kidding the weather in Texas is always wild) so layers are usually a good thing. The spring mornings are usually cool and afternoon is full of sunshine and pollen. You have endless options when it comes to this trend. I have styled a jacket and a vest below. You can mix it up and basically style these anyway that you like. I also love them paired with a cute T, a good pair of black leggings (not the see through kind) and sneaks. I also like for these be a bit oversized. There are tons of these out in stores and online right now, the price point is also whatever you want it to be. These can be found in high end department stores, or you can snag a deal like I did for super cheap. My vest I scored at Sam’s, of all places, and less that $20 too! The leopard print jacket which is amaaaazing I might add, I got on sale last year. I’ve worn both of these casual and dressed them up with heels or a dress and booties (pictured below) .

Jacket (mine is last year’s) but this one is fun – so is this one – my dress I got a few years ago at Zara but this number would be cute – Booties (similar) here – Chain  necklace Kendra Scott – bracelet Rustic Cuff (mine came from Crockers Jewelers)
