Buffalo Check

When winter rolls around every year, I just love to see red/black buffalo check. It reminds me of cold weather, and after all I am a cold weather girl. My pants I scored at Old Navy on the sale rack, seriously less than $10. No lie! I paired with my go to black turtle neck and black Moto jacket with gold accents. One of my golden rules in shopping is,  don’t spend too much money on trendy pieces or items that will be harder to pair with others. For example: I spent less than $10 on my pants. I spent more on my turtleneck and jacket because they are much more versatile,  I have tons more items to pair with them to make different outfits. Spend your money where it matters, it will make your wardrobe go much farther.

I know spring is just around the corner and I have visions of green fields, flowers and the LAKE running through my head…but let’s face it, I live in Texas where Mother Nature has a mind of her own.  I think I can at least get one more wear out of one of my favorite winter looks before it’s time for a yearly spring renewal for the wardrobe!

Gianni bini Moto jacket here – my favorite turtleneck here (it’s on sale!) – BCBG heels here

Sunglasses Tory Burch here (same as mine only these tortoise ones are on sale!!)

Jewelry Burbon and Bowties bracelets- I bought locally at Crockers’s Jewelers along with the two bangles and the Lagos ring, similar one Here.
